API6A PR2 Test

API 6A PR 2 qualification test is the most widespread combining both the effects Temperature and Pressure.

In house fire test, pressure test, low fugitive emission test and hi-pressure gas test is became common for high pressure valve. New PR2 is requried for the valves which are used in wellhead and oil field.

There are different types of temperature cycles in additional to the operation cycles. The operation cycles are typically 200, including these at high and low pressure.

1.Bend Testing:

The bend testing is a test applying a bending moment to the valve body by connected bands on the transition pieces.Then the bending rate on valve is calculated based on the pressure inside the cylinder.

2. Cryogenic

Cryogenic test is suitable for LNG gate, globe, check and ball(Extented bonnet gate valve).A special test area dedicated to perform full cryogenic testing at -196 degree using liquid nitrogen. It is no limit to valve size and valve pressure.

3.Endurance testing

Endurance testing includes 1000 operating cycles at ambient condition.

4. Firesafe test.

The test consists of subjecing valves to a flame of specific thermal power for a specified period typically 30 or 120 minutes. It is widely for ball valve.

5. Hydrostatic

Hydrostatic and gas testing is for valve, including gate valve, globe valve, check valve, ball valve and plug valve, size 1/2inch to 80inch, class to ANSI 4500 without any limitation.

All operations are trained and experienced to perform all types of test required by the main test specification API 6A, API6D, API 598 and so on.
