The characteristic of the plug valve is that after the valve seat is worn for a period of time, the tapered valve plug can be adjusted downward to form a new sealing surface, and it can be achieved under line and pipeline pressure, thereby saving maintenance time and reducing maintenance costs. Very different from the usual adjustment method.
The usual adjustment method is to adjust downward through three bolts, so as to press the valve plug downward to achieve a new sealing surface. This adjustment method requires that the three bolts must be adjusted evenly, which is difficult to achieve in actual operation. If the adjustment is uneven, the cock will deflect to one side, causing damage to the valve seat during closing; at the same time, the valve stem seal will also be damaged; the torque of stainless steel and stainless steel valves becomes larger. Causing internal leakage and stem leakage.
The adjustment adopts a cylindrical cut surface to contact with the plane. It is a patented rocker adjuster. The valve plug is adjusted downward through two bolts.
Therefore, only two bolts are needed to adjust the system, and turning any bolt can cause the gland to produce uniform vertical downward pressure, thereby avoiding the offset of the cock and strengthening the seal.
