Maintenance instructions of High pressure valves

 This instructions are suitable for high pressure high temperature valves,  wedge gate valves, BW End gate valve, Cast steel gate valve, Stainless steel gate valve Pressure from 150LB to 2500LB

Principle and Structural instruction

1). Operational Principle: A gate is ascended and descended by up and down

movement of a stem to open & close between the seating surfaces.

2). Structural Feature

a). Structure type: Flexible wedge gate, OS & Y, BB.

       b). Driven type: Motorized. Its electric wiring diagram & adjustment are as per its Operation Instruction.

  c). Connection ends: BW.

      d). The seating surfaces are all stellited and they are anti-wearing, anti-erosive &

anti-galling so that they have a long life.

      e). The stuffing box is equipped with Flexible Graphite Packing Rings and Packing Rings woven with Flexible Graphite & reinforced with 304 stainless steel wires alternatively, which makes operation smoothly.

     f). The Gasket is a spiral Wound Gasket reinforced with 304 stainless steel wires & filled with Flexible Graphite, which make sealing reliable.

 Maintenance 

   1).The valve should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated room, and kept from rain, moist and rust.

   2). The valve should be in close position during storage and shipment, and following

steps should be done:

   a). The surfaces of a gate are covered with oil-paper.

   b). Two ends of a valve are plugged with blank plates to avoid dust and rust.

  c). The ACME thread of a stem shall be coated with lubricating grease, and the  closed-position stem thread projection beyond the stem nut & the smooth part of the stem should be protected.

 d). The valve shall be periodically inspected after a long time of storage. The  surface & ACME thread of the stem, 2 flow paths, BW ends, seating surfaces shall be checked if the scale & rust exist on them and than they are re-coated with oil & re-protected after they are removed off.
